Announcing My Upcoming Trip to Zimbabwe

Assuming the Lord works out all the details, I will be headed to Zimbabwe the end of this month for a two week training course put on by Foundations for Farming. In their own words, Foundations for Farming (FfF) is an initiative aimed at bringing transformation to individuals, communities, and nations through faithful and productive use of land. Originally called Farming God’s Way (see the previous post), FfF teaches a simple method of farming based on principles seen in creation (minimal tillage, mulch, diversity) and focuses heavily on the Foundation for farming, Jesus Christ.

My goal in going to Zimbabwe is to learn from these godly men and catch some of their vision and passion for Christ so that I can come back and pass what I learn on to the growing number of Christian farmers in the U.S. Please pray that the Lord prepares my heart for what he wants to teach me.
