We are privileged to announce that Chuck Bentley, CEO of Crown Financial Ministries will be speaking at the 2014 Redeeming the Dirt Conference. A friend and supporter of Foundations for Farming, he will be helping cast a vision for how the principles God is using to change agriculture in Africa can impact the USA.

The following is a bio from crown.org:

For over a decade, Chuck has traveled the world teaching biblical financial principles to the affluent, middle class, poor and ultra poor. As host of the daily national radio broadcast, My MoneyLife™, Chuck connects with all generations and inspires his audience with a strong scriptural emphasis.

Following in the footsteps of Crown’s founder, the late Larry Burkett, Chuck has assumed the mantle of a strategic organization, founded in 1976, that now reaches around the world with staff on every continent, a media presence through radio and the internet as well as through books and materials serving the spiritual and financial needs of all people, regardless of their economic condition. Crown’s outreach impacts individuals, families, churches, and businesses.

Chuck is the executive producer of the God Provides™ Film Learning Experience. He is also the co-creator of the Crown Money Map™ and a contributor to Saddleback Church’s small group series, Managing Our Finances God’s Way.  Most recently Chuck produced the MoneyLife® Personal Finance Study, a highly relational biblical financial study that incorporates the MoneyLife® Planner suite of resources. These powerful tools are being used to transform lives around the world. In July 2011, Chuck’s first book Root of Riches was published, and shortly thereafter Chuck’s second book The S.A.L.T. Plan was released.  Since then, The Worst Financial Mistakes in the Bible and How You Can Avoid Them has been published with tremendous responses from around the globe.

Chuck was born July 2, 1957 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He enjoys reading, the outdoors and his family. He and his wife, Ann, have been married since 1978. Both are graduates of Baylor University, where Chuck earned a B.A. in Business Administration, served as Student Body President, and received both Outstanding Sophomore Man and Outstanding Senior Man awards. He is frequently a guest speaker addressing churches, business leaders and radio listeners on biblical financial topics. Chuck and Ann live near Knoxville, Tennessee and have four sons, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
